By far the easiest way to raise money as an individual or team participating in the Munro Challenge is to use our online sponsorship facility hosted by JustGiving.

Here you can build your own personal fundraising page for the event that enables your friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you very easily.

Creating your own online fundraising page is very quick and simple. People sponsoring you will find it easy to make payments to your page where they can also add GiftAid.

The money goes straight into WaterAid's bank account meaning you don't have to mess around with cash, cheques and forms. Online sponsorship keeps WaterAid's administration costs down.

We ask that everyone taking part in the challenge aims to raise a minimum of £50 sponsorship each.

• Just £15 can enable one person to access safe water, improved hygiene and sanitation.

• £30 can buy a family toilet. It's worth spending more than a penny! People without toilets risk deadly illness.

• £60 can buy a handpump. For families in developing countries, drawing water up through the gift of a brand-new handpump keeps out creepy crawlies, while the water stays clean and safe.

• £1,300 could buy the repair of a village water point. Some villages lose access to clean water simply because their well has gone into disrepair and they don't have the money or know-how to fix it. Regardless of who dug the original well, we can rehabilitate it and restore quality of water - and life!
